It's what we are all about!

GFWC Woman’s Club of Indio supports several non-profit organizations throughout the Coachella Valley. Our belief is that by supporting them, our efforts magnify the positive impact these organizations make every day. In some instances, we donate our time and in other instances, we fundraise and donate money, food, toiletries and necessities, books, and many other items. We do both because we believe it is important to elevate causes by volunteering and giving, all in an effort to expand that non-profit’s reach and impact.

Grant Application to GFWC Woman's Club of Indio

GFWC Woman's Club of Indio accepts grant applications from the community for funding up to $1,000. Applications are considered by the Community Service Outreach Committee and applicants must be a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Arts and Culture

We promote the arts through education and participation in community programs throughout the valley.

Education and Libraries

We improve literacy and education in our community. We award scholarships to high school students to attend college or university and to women to assist in their journey to acquire marketable skills. We mentor teenage girls, volunteer time tutoring elementary school students with comprehension and English vocabulary, and place mini libraries at local businesses, providing books in English and Spanish for children and adults.
